DIARIO PRENSA FUE UNA DE LAS 6 MIL PERSONAS QUE VISITARON EL STAND DE SAN LUIS

During the Buenos Aires International Book Fair, which took place from April 24 to May 13, more than 6,000 people visited the San Luis Province stand. DIARIO PRENSA del Interior took a tour of the stand in images through our Buenos Aires correspondent and head of ArgenPics.
San Luis participated with the "Voices" stand, which highlighted the importance of Identity, Belonging, and Puntanidad, which highlights the history and cultural contributions of the province's emblematic figures in art and culture.
Since April 25th, the Culture Program has been present in the Ocher Pavilion at La Rural in Buenos Aires. This Monday, May 13th, the doors closed, thus concluding the 45th edition of a Fair marked by culture and critical thinking.
Visitors to the stand expressed interest in San Luis literature. On this occasion, the complete works of writer Jesús Liberato Tobares were presented, as well as the book "Historias de mi Pueblo y de su Gente," where the voices of the San Luis region were heard at the International Book Fair.
As a result, the San Luis stand received a special mention in the "Argentine Provinces" category in the competition for the best provincial stands. The design of this space traces a timeline of authors, from Juan Crisóstomo Lafinur to writers and poets from San Luis. A special space for technological innovation was created using mapping, where visitors can watch a video about how the "History of my Town and its People" project was developed.
A catalog of the Province's publishing house was also offered, including all the works published over the past 10 years.
One of the special moments was the performance of "La Cuyana," one of the bands that make up the "Sueños del Arte" system, which offered its music to the Fair visitors. The musicians from San Luis performed traditional Cuyana music, and it was the first time they traveled to Buenos Aires to play for thousands of people.
